Aaron Neville - The Shadow Of Your Smile

There is something about the sweetness in R&B that usually doesn’t do it for me, especially when the vocalist is a guy…. each to his own I guess, But sometimes you’ve just got to sit down and take notice, Listen to the voice and recognize the quality. Aaron Neville has such an unusual voice, that although I haven’t followed what he does really closely, I will always listen with a kind of respect to what he does, when I happen across it.

and now, I know why.

His 2003 Album Nature Boy: The Standards Album is probably the one that I am going to sit down and listen to intentionally.
