Hello, I have owned my Mk VII alto since 88 but need to sell it and have no idea what its worth today. I know VIIs aren't bringing the high prices of other Selmers, any insight/best guesses would be appreciated. Mine was made in 1979.

reasonably good deal. I just bought an ugly VII tenor (stripped of laquer!) for $1400. I'd say $1200 in fair shape, $1400-$1800 in good shape. Hope this helps.
