I bought a Yamaha YTS-32 from a retailer with whom I'd had many years of business.

When he suggested this model, I just took it without much due diligence.

But this model doesn't show up on the Yamaha web site.

Anybody heard of YTS-32?

I want to be assured this is a one notch above the entery level YTS-25.

Thanks in advance.

The 32 is indeeed the intermediate model above the 25. As far as I know, the european intermediate models are named '32' (at least here in Germany) whereas the US models are named '52's. I don't know, if there are differncies between those two models.

Yes, it is one notch above the 25 - and a very nice instrument it is too. I have a number of professional clients who play these in preference for more expensive horns.

You weren't sold a pup!
