Back to ligatures again

I presently am using black electrical tape - great sound - warm and dark. When I compare it to my Rovner Dark the Rovner is bright sounding.

I also use varying sizes and widths of rubber band and/or rubber O-Rings

I am presently designing a Ligless mouthpiece i.e., NO Ligature at all...........

I read on this forum some time back from a lady that said a lig makes no difference at all - WRONG - it makes all the difference in the world. All comments on this topic are very welcome......Thank you .....Philip

PS I will try Velcro today - I heard good reports about it as an emergency proceedure but I will design one for all around use.

de_Genova, I agree with you that a lig makes a difference! And, I am looking forward to reading about your experiences with the Velcro.
