Sounds like I know what is next on my purchase list: Adam Lane, Mark Whitecage and Lou Grassi’s Drunk Butterfly.
According to Tim its is a very well executed fusion of mainstream and avante guard Jazz, and amongst other things seems to me to be very diverse and interesting to listen to.

If Tim doesn’t persuade you that this is worth  a listen maybe this will.
