Hi I have inherited a saxophone and dont know much about it or value. I can provide serial number and any information. It has engraving on the bell of The Martin, Indiana Elkhart, Ind. I would be grateful if anyone can help.

It might be a very nice instrument. I have one of "The Martin" altos from the late 50's (I think), and like it very much. It has a warm, sweet tone when combined with a Meyer mouthpiece. That's also the model Art Pepper played.
