how do i find a serial numbers list for a Bundy II tenor saxophone to determine date of manufacture
Here is one source of late Buescher and Bundy serial numbers:
...Unless it's a Selmer Bundy II, in which case, to be quite honest, it doesn't really matter WHAT the serial number is... Haw...
Gotta agree with Steve. That about sums up my opinion of the Bundy line, save for the rare, 1940's Leo Bundy horns.
True dat, Mike. And also the so-called "Bundy Special" which is really a fine German Keilwerth in disguise.
In fact, I'm on a 1982 Couf Superba-I tenor now that is also a Keilwerth Toneking Special clone. My 10M got moved to a backup role, so you know that Couf is a real butt kicker.
But if you have a Bundy II and it plays, that's cool. Probably from the late 60's or 70's. Not historic and not valuable, but if it plays, and you're playing it, that's what matters!
