I have an old Pan-American tenor. Am I right in believing that this was built by Conn? Is it a student model? How can I check the age? Does it follow Conn's serial numbers? If so, this is apparently a 1924 horn (definitely looks it). Anyway, the horn sounds great, and plays quite well, so I just want more info about it.

Thanks.

Jeff, You are right with regard to Conn being the maker of your Pan American. I have owned 2 altos that had a really nice warm tone. Are your bell keys split with one on each side? If so, likely a decendent of the Chu, if both on the left a 6M relative. Nice saxes.
