Did you ever get those notes.
If so, let me know, I need them as well!

You mean the Brenda Lee version? I doubt seriously you'll find a transcription of that solo anywhere, BUT you should be able to do your own, eh?

Go to Youtube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bnIqLlBwzrc

The sax solo starts about 1 minute 5 seconds in. You can start and stop the playback. Why not take a crack at transcribing (listening and writing out) the solo yourself? Should not be hard. It's a VERY basic and uncomplicated solo. Besides, transcribing is an EXCELLENT ear excercise for any musician.

By the way, is it me, or does Brenda appear to say a VERY naughty word about 34 seconds into the song??

Thanks Steve,
I have done about 6 bars, but it gets harder and I want to play it on Christmas Day w/ some friends...I just thought if someone already had done it...waaaa laaa forme!! THnaks for your reply. Will have to look for that naughty word!
I am not that fast at transcribing !!

Try playing just a few notes at a time. Sing them back to yourself to make sure you heard it right. Then try writing the notes down. It's a little tedious. Stop and start the song only a few notes at a time.

Give it another try and let me know how you do.
