Hello to all, can anyone throw some light on selmer sa80 series 3 serial numbers and the year they were produced. Ive just bought one and would love to know exactly how old it is, this is what stamped on it N.608337 this the first selmer ive owned since the early 90s then i bought my first selmer a silver plated mk6 i played it for a year and swapped it for a mk7 and some cash, what a mistake that was, played sax for well over 40 years and this was and still is my biggist regret, and the moral of the tail, when youve got a great sax for you, the grass aint greener on the otherside.
