I belive Silvertone is the house brand name for all musical instruments sold by the Sears department store and catalog. It definitely would have been made by another company and labelled with the Silvertone name. Not sure if it was Conn or ??? maybe someone else knows.

It's a Sears $ Roebuck house brand. Most were made by Bundy. I don't think Conn ever produced one for them, but someone who really knows saxes could tell from pictures of the mechanism. It's unlikely to be valuable.
