Billy’s Band doing Tom Waits Blue Valentines

Billy’s Band just took part in the Rochester International Jazz Festival.

Billy’s Band are a Jazz Blues quartet out of St. Petersburg Russia and are well known to audiences all over Europe and Israel.

The do there own music and a lot of Tom Waits covers with there own interpretation and take on his work.

Billy, the lead vocalist’s voice is supposedly a lot like The voice of Tom Waits, but I agree with Seth who thinks that Louis Armstrong’s would be a better comparison.

Part of the time it sounds like Louis Armstrong doing Tom Waits…which is a little weird…

I thought this one was very beautiful.
