Where should I buy on-line?

I am interested in buying a saxophone for a beginner. We currently have a rental throught the end of the year. After talking to different stores in my area, I am convinced that I cannot get a good deal from anyone (everyone seems to be on commision). Are there any discount places on-line that I can shop for musical instruments?

check out www.saxophone.com They only sell their instruments, but a student of mine bought one and they seem well worth the money. I guess it depends on how much you want to spend and how good of a horn you want a beginner to have.

Try www.saxshop.nl. I have made bargains at this store, and I plan to make more. It is located in the ancient Dutch town of Deventer and has the best prices around. Americans order at least one sax a week from this store, according to one of the staff.
