Vega Boston Mass tenor sax.

I have a Vega Boston Mass tenor sax, serial number P 14894 L. I'm curious about the year, mother company, and grade instrument it is.

The identity of this horn is the same as your Bruno inquiry, i.e. the P prefix and L suffix in the serial number suggests that your example was most likely made by Conn, although their serial number vs. date of manufacture lists don't apply to the "stencil" horns that they manufactured, so dating the horn that way is specious.

As with the Bruno, get those photos posted for a positive ID and assessment.
